Cr12MoV is relatively good. MASSCA roller procurement uses die steel Cr12MoV produced by Northeast Special Steel. Currently, it is the only one in China that refines iron ore and adds metal elements to forge Cr12MoV material (data from the original Northeast Special Steel factory). MASSCA can provide quality certificates and inspection reports from the Chinese Materials Research Institute to customers who purchase its die steel. For MASSCA rollers, the vacuum heat treatment uses liquid nitrogen cooling and is tempered three times. The rollers are not only wear – resistant but also have good toughness and are not prone to cracking. After processing, MASSCA rollers are machined using Japanese Daiei machine tools, and the concentricity and smoothness of the rollers are 1 – 2 grades higher than those of competitors.
